Vacational Training

Background info

Vacation training is a 2 week training program designed for students in primary and secondary school. Using the 3 holiday breaks, April, August and December, We have designed a structure and plan where we have students start training from level 1 all the way to level 3. On every holiday they will always continue from where they left at.

The objective of this program is to nurture potential software developers at their early age. That’s how we will end up producing the best of the best from our country.

The basis of Creativity and innovation is knowledge, the more you know the more creative you become. Start learning computing early in your life and see how creative and innovative you become over time. The course has 3 levels:

Level 1 Introduction to Computing

Objective:

  • To have skills on networking and internet

Level 2 Web design and development

USSD Application and short code Application

This is a sort after skill in the mobile industry, for software developers who want to acquire skills on how to create low-level software services, supported by all mobile devices. The software service is mostly used by banks, betting companies and network providers like Safaricom and airtel. For example to purchase bundles using Safaricom network you would dial *544#.
